Research in Northern New South Wales
 |
You never know what good research might turn up for you. This lovely teapot was presented to Heather's great-aunt, Ivy Ellem, when she was a teacher at Woolbrook school in 1923. We'd never have seen it if we hadn't tracked down its current owner.
Why don't you let us do research for you while you just enjoy a good cuppa yourself. |
We're based in Armidale which makes your researches in northern NSW so much easier. We visit the University of New England's Regional Archives almost daily, and are only an easy drive from archives across the northern part of the state. We regularly visit Inverell, Glen Innes, Grafton, and many other regional centres which allows us access to material that might well contain information about your family.
These archives contain a vast array of material from farm records, business and family records; church, criminal, charity records, and so much more. You might well be lucky and get samples of your ancestors' handwriting, photographs, or who knows what.
